For an Emergency dial 15

Medical facilities are good on the main island but are more limited on the outer islands. There are two good public hospitals, various private clinics and many pharmacies in Noumea. Outside the main centers, medical supplies may be limited, although each town has a community clinic, where you would be bale to get first aid treatment. Health care is expensive in Noumea but free on the Loyalty Islands.
