How to Reach Us

General Inquiries

The Consular Section does not provide a walk-in service to the public.

The American Citizen Services can be reached during normal business hours, from 8:00am-12:00pm and 2:00pm-5:00pm, Monday-Thursday and 8:00am-12:00pm, Friday, at (679) 331-4466, facsimile (679) 330-2267.  We may also be reached on email at consularsuva@state.gov .

The Embassy is located at 31 Loftus Street, Suva, Fiji and the mailing address is:

Transit time for international mail to the Embassy is about 3-4 weeks.

An American Citizen must make an appointment through the Embassy contact noted above during normal business hours for any required American Citizen services.

The appointment schedules for American Citizens are as follows; Monday-Thursday from 9:00am-12:00pm and 2:00pm-4:00pm, Friday from 9:00am-12:00pm.

If you are an American Citizen, with an emergency that requires Embassy assistance, please call the Embassy at any time on (679) 331-4466 and the on-call duty officer will be contacted.  However, the American Citizen Services can only be available with an appointment.
