Educational Requirements

For French Polynesia, the principal applicant must have one of the following qualifications:

Required Certificates, Diplomas, and Degree

  • Baccalauréat de l’Enseignement Secondaire
  • Brevet de Technicien
  • L’Examen Spécial d’Entrée á I’Université (ESEU)
  • Capacité en Droit
  • Diplôme d’Études Universitaires Générales (DEUG)
  • Diplôme d’Études Universitaires des Sciences et des Techniques    (DEUST)
  • Special French language programs as offered by L’Université  Francaise du Pacifique.

No first degree equivalent programs are available. Through special arrangements with universities in France, the Licence and Maîtrise degrees are conferred from there.

  • Diplôme d’Études Approfondies (DEA)
