EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

For the Fiji Islands the principal applicant must have one of the following qualifications:

Required Certificates, Diplomas, and Degree

• Fiji School Leaving Certificate (showing an aggregate of at least 200 marks in English and the best three other subjects);
• New Zealand University Entrance Examination (showing at least four subjects passed and 200 or more marks accumulated);
• New Zealand Sixth Form Certificate (showing at least five subjects passed graded 7 or better on a 1 [high] to 9 [low] scale);
• New Zealand University Bursaries/Entrance Scholarship Papers (minimum of four subjects graded D or better);
• Fiji National Seventh Form Examination.
• Certificate or Diploma in Teaching/Education from Lautoka Teachers College, Fulton College, Corpus Christi and Fiji College of Advance Education.
• Fiji Institute of Technology Certificate [2 semesters], Trade Certificate, Diploma, Advanced Diploma.
• Successful completion of the Foundation Program or a higher qualification from the University of the South Pacific.
• Fiji School of Medicine Paramedical Certificate, Diploma, Degree and Masters.
• Diploma from the Fiji College of Agriculture.
• Diploma or advanced Diploma in Accounting/Management studies from the Training & Productivity Authority of Fiji.
• Diploma of Nursing
• Bachelor’s Degree
• Master’s Degree
• Doctorate Degree

Required Documentation for Each Degree:

- Records of courses/subjects taken and grades/marks earned
- Original copy of degree, diploma, or certificate
- Records of examination results/transcripts
